I had a T reg 1999 C250 TD estate auto and all the toys. The only car I truly regretted selling. Put 100k on it and sold it for £100 less than I bought it for. I have put two non turbo engines in fighing boats 20 odd years ago and are still going strong.

I love the old mercs I had an old 1997 w203 c180 petrol with LPG conversion that I bought with 240k on the clock for £350 8 years ago that I had for 3 years when I got bored of it, had 290k all I spent on it was 3 new tyres and a relay for the LPG system and some body filler…. Sold it for more then I paid for it too! Still on the road now 310k last time I checked, original engine and gear box aswell! Have a w203 C200 now, fancy a change….

That key box just brought back a nightmare from years ago I had to sort over 400 sets of keys for trucks and not one had a reg on it it took weeks to sort they had a barcode but no reg I had to compare the barcode tag to piles of vehicle lists that had the barcode and reg it was over 4 years of vehicles

I must have the only RHD w124 estate 300 td turbo OM 603 turbo in the uk. Don’t know why Mercedes said you could not fit a turbo in a RHD w124 I managed with a euro spec 300d om 603 turbo diesel engine from a German car. … Great channel can’t beat a diesel Merc

One of the best videos I’ve watched, the sayings I was laughing so much. Keep it up. What is the music that u use for the video ? And the guitar one as well. I remember these cars and as u say built like tanks,u could not kill them for love nor money. The old Volvo of the 90’s as well could not destroy them at all they were nuclear. Build quality with any car today is absolute garbage.

Now then I live in the midlands, years ago there was a company in the midlands called Jack Allen they built bodies for bin lorries ect . All their fleet of sales cars where the same colour and they were all mercs what a lovely colour it is.

Strange that they made a 250 Turbo Diesel T-Model for Great Britain. In Germany and the rest of Europe the OM 602A was only available in the limousine.

I had an x reg 2 littre kompresor x reg lovely car but just then I realised I had fucked up first when I payed a grand for the exhaust . And then when it went rusty rusty , I wish I had slapped my self and said newer is not always better . By the way the Peugeot you did last week never slam the boot to hard because if the rear window breaks the boot bottom will fall on the floor 🤣
