Contemporary cars are beeing made for idiots, who can't drive. With a hundreds of "safety" systems which are taking all driving pleasure. Soon the cars will be driving by themselves, but will be still real automotive? Hell no! 5. When you buy a new car, you are losing minimum 20-30% of it's worth when you are going out of a car showroom. But who will forbid the Rich? I tried to find one of these in a 6 cylinder (300d) years ago here in the U.S. and the few I found people wanted outrageous prices and they gave ridiculously high fuel mileage on them. Philipp Maier Damals waren Autos auch noch etwas komplett anderes. Heute ist jedes Bauteil in einem Auto für eine gewisse Zeitspanne optimiert und danach gehts halt kaputt. Früher hat man so noch nicht gedacht. Da war alles überdimensioniert und hat somit auch lange gehalten.

I love this model, I have a 124 e300 86 'and I fell in love at first sight, it was from my grandfather and it was very dirty and with problems of dirt inside, worn tires, body oils, upholstery, lights and I have fixed it and I cannot avoid turning around to see it, nowadays I have it very well cared for and restored :)

Hasn't the truck driver ever heard of putting a tyre in between two chains to act like a shock absorber so you don't wreck anything and the stretching of the tie will pull the vehicle out this is a very old method that works
