1) Do someone know if just the torsion bar can be removed without to removing other parts? Cause my torsion bar is maxed out and I need more hight. 2) How much difference do 1 teeth appr. make in millimeter? 3) Did you matched the read axle in height with spacers or longer spring?

Hey do you just pull the torsion bar out the control arm? It how do you take it out the control arm?

I have a gl450, not sure what I want to do with it. If I want to lower it would I do the opposite of what you just did?

Completely different platforms, so I have no idea. I think.... after the W163, Mercedes went unibody for all SUVs except the G.

How did you drop out the torsion bar from the lower control arm area?

You knock out the four washers once you have the bolt is started, right? Or do the stay in a kind of spacer?

They fall out as soon as the bolt start tightening and pulls that arm down.

so did you still go 2 teeth on the torsion bar after new torsion bar pads?

Yes. Still kept them at 2 teeth indexed.
