Mercedes w201 lighting control repair

In this video, we can observe a situation where the lighting control of a Mercedes 190 w201 does not work when the driver activates the headlight flashers. To solve this problem, it was decided to disassemble the control for a thorough inspection. During this inspection, it was noticed that the contactor was dirty, which prevented it from working properly.
To remedy this situation, gasoline was used to clean the contactor. After applying this cleaner, it was found that the light control was working perfectly again. This intervention allowed us to save the cost of buying a new control, since we were able to solve the problem by simply cleaning the dirty contactor.
This experience highlights the importance of regular maintenance and servicing of automotive components. Sometimes minor problems can be fixed with simple, inexpensive fixes, saving money and avoiding more expensive repairs.
