I highly Recommend lowering the engine compression ratio before trying to go for more boost to make it more reliable and easiest way to lower it is by using a thicker headgasket

How long did it take for you to replace the head gasket? Recently got mine changed by a mechanic and they took about 3-4 hours which I’m thinking was pretty sketchy knowing it’s an extensive job.

The m104 head gasket is “easy” and straightforward. That’s the only reason I can do it myself. Takes me a couple of days because I take the head in to get machined every time. Also my intake and exhaust manifolds are a nightmare to remove (custom) But doing it in 3-4 hours I don’t know if that’s possible. Even on a. Stock m104🤷🏻‍♂️ But there are some good mechanics out there and anything is possible 🤙🏼
