Mercedes W210 Climate Control Fault Codes

This is the best video I’ve seen. Thus far. My car was blowing hot, I replaced the AC compressor. It was part of the problem, but it was still blowing hot afterwards after spending more than a couple hours. Trying to figure out why I couldn’t get the EC to go off. I finally found this video which resetting the codes was helpful and getting the car to blow cold air … I initially thought I had to replace my dryer as well which I probably still do but success. My car finally has AC and it’s working. Thank you so much

This really helped me out thank you so much. My process for getting to the fault codes was a little different. I had to switch the hi driver low passenger switch back to first ignition click press ec rest together, and then go to second ignition click, and only then would it blink the top one, and let me go through. I didn't have a delete option, but when I pressed reset by itself it seemed to do it then went back to 72° and I couldn't get the codes to come back on.

Great post. My a/c started cooling on only 1 side of the car and then quit completely. Garage charged with coolant but EC light stayed on and wouldn't cool. Purchased Evap Temp Sensor for $20 online. Installed it but light was still on and not cooling. Followed this video to reset the codes and now the EC light is off and the car cools perfectly. Thanks

Ассалам алейкум! Теперь перевод на раше. Включить зажигание. Нажимать на правую клавишу температуры пока не появится HI , на левую - LO. Выключать зажигание и вновь включить. Нажмите на удержание одновременно ЕС и REST. Появятся цифры на экране. Справа порядковый номер , а слева название ошибки. Клавишами АВТО их можно просмотреть на дисплее. На приведенной таблице в видео, есть расшифровка ошибок. Для удаления ошибок и разблокирования ЕС нажмите одновременно обе клавиши АВТО на несколько секунд. Затем выключить зажигание и подождать до прослушивания щелчка. Теперь кондиционер может вновь быть активирован. Счастливого пути!

I bought at '03 C320 with this climate control setup. The only thing it allows me to do is turn the defrost on, and it comes on at high fan speed and high heat. The screen reads that it is on, but all the other buttons don't work. I can't adjust fan speed, temparature, etc. The rear defrost can be turned on and off, but nothing else. All I can is turn on high heat, high speed defrost, and turn it off.

Did it go through computer reading stage ? If no codes stored, it will show no error codes….

If the relevant buttons are broken, then obviously this technique won't work. Looks like you'll have to use your noggin.
