What I find most impressive about all this.. Is that I'm sitting here at my mum and dad's house for Sunday tea, and the whole family is sitting watching Mat on the big screen. This is mad to me.. The tenacity and drive you have is on a different level, I never thought I could be so enthralled on watching a video of a car that bad been fighting and repaired. My old mate was always buying stuff from auction or Ebay that was minced I talked him out of a range rover sport as it was delivered about to be unloaded of a transporter, all collapsed with a nice tide mark where it had been swimming . Unfortunately it never stopped there he died with several unfinished projects that his mrs Baisicaly gave away bless her, best Chanel by far on KZbin imo in every aspect. Mercedes didn't want the car back, they sent you a Recall notice to have something fixed. It's no big deal. While you are at the dealership they can do a full inspection and clear all the trouble codes.

My cousin's C63 has seats that squeeze you when you make a turn at high speed. The front seats have some sort of mechanism that expands around your body to hug you in turns.

Mat I love your channel! One thing that I might have missed on this build is how you worked out lining up the rear tail pipes to go through the tips on the rear bumper. I was waiting for the bumper to melt or catch fire everytime you got on the throttle. I still don't know how you had the patience to push through this build. Awesome job bud!

I've got the c63 w205 model and that's an animal. So yours must be immense with 520+ bhp going to the rear wheels. These and the w205's are the last generation of big horse power rear wheel drive cars. What an engine that 6.2 lump is. Great series of rebuild videos 👍

Im doing the exact opposite rebuild on another 240 GT Volvo sleeper / rally / drift build.. Almost ALL pristine used/salvage HD parts from pickup trucks and wrecked whips.. Ripped every inch of wire and plumbing out of Volvo, all interior, all dash, all heat , all ac deleted. Drivetrain deleted. 10pt cage in, LS7 9000 Rpm build done(took me a year to score a knife edged lunati bottom end😍 ). 7sp manual trans and slipper.. big disc brakes and coilovers that are from a 1000lb heavier car... Almost done and it all cost under $10k and a couple weeks of work so far stacking cars /easywork.. Local insurance salvage yard lets me know when some funky destroyed built car comes in, and i harvest high perf aftermarket odds and ends. Then work a day or two operating equipment in exchange. My Volvo Still need wheels tires, a haltech or Holley Ecu and harnesses. But the build ends in sight, almost done! Hopefully spring 2024 be drifting A LOT😛 and drag racing a lil..😋

I understand updating the suspension, but why in the world do you people think that you have to slam a car down, till the suspension is not working properly. The Gap around that tire was perfect, it does not have to go lower. It looks wrong when it's that low. And you cannot have a car without proper suspension travel work properly. Especially if you're going to drive it on the streets where other humans are driving.

Im sure other people have commented to you about this, but its really not a good idea to let your brakes hung with all the wait on the brake fluid line like that. When you were replacing the coilovers i noticed that. Especially with big brakes like those. Im sure you didn't do any damage to them, but its just always a good idea to support them just in case you tear the line from the weight of the caliper.

Hi Mat. I just wanted to tell you that I received the exact same letter in August for a passenger side airbag replacement. It is completely normal. Apparently the original airbags fitted when the car was made contained a particular product that could've caused an issue, so they recalled it, and replaced the passenger side airbag in half a day. So that recall wasn't exclusive to your car.

But the panelgaps and lines are not onpar. by several cm some places. to have something this exclusive and give up right at the finishing line is sad.. meh good enough and throw some wrapper on it.. (or paint if thats ur jam) Mate... align the bonnet so u cant fit a finger in like u can now? and the front bumper is not matching the curve for the wheel arch. had to stop the video at 4:53 as this breaks my mercedes spirit to see such a gem so close to perfection but given up on the last stretch of fitting and panel adjustments.
