Went to the mercedes dealership in portland looking for a final edition e63s. I knew about this SL from videos and pictures and thought it was pretty nice looking. 8 out or 10. Then i saw a white one at said dealership and i was surprised how much better it looks in person. So much better in fact i forgot all about the E63 and drove away in a white SL63R4 about a month ago. No regrets.

Da fehlt einer was ist mit dem Model nach dem R 129 was übrigens der letzte Mercedes in Mercedes Qualität war und man hat noch eine Riesen Auswahl an Motoren bekommen. Damals gab es noch auch kleine Motoren für ein kleines Budget es gab damals von 280 SL bis 73 SL für jeden was dabei heute gibt es nur noch AMG oder kommt noch ein 4 Zylinder ?

Sehr cool, post von Mercedes bekommen Abholung am 29.04.2022 ( GLC63S ) seit Fertigstellung 15.03.2022 Warte ich seit dem auf Auslieferung immer wieder wird mir mitgeteilt auslieferungssperre. Mein Bruder selbe Auto zur selben Zeit bestellt. Auto wird zum Autohaus geliefert. Bin mehr als sauer und Enttäuscht. War und wird der erste Mercedes sein den ich gekauft habe.

I considered to buy the AMG-SL 63 but the price is way too high for the car you get. Imagine the same 4L engine with 585 PS which is used since 2018 (or even earlier) and the recycled interior from the S - class and C - class but as expensive as an G63 or the new amg gt 63 e-performance with over 840 PS. Way too expensive considering an E63 S AMG is way faster and cheaper. Who would want to get such an AMG SL for 250 - 300 grand when you can get an 911 Turbo S? What a dissapointment...

@@gojame220 I own a AMG GT 63 S AMG 4-Door and I have driven the new AMG SL. Except for the interior (which is just a copy and paste from C and S Class. It‘s not really exciting compared to my much faster and heavier 5 seater which weighs 400kg more than the AMG SL.

@@jb00h4 the price of the AMG GT 63e and AMG SL 63 are pretty much the same in Switzerland (7k more -> both over 240k -> 3% difference is not of a big deal). The 911 turbo starts at the same price as the AMG SL 63 and even the 911 turbo is def better than the SL

WORSE CAR I EVER BOUGHT!! Yeah, it's fun to drive, BUT that's when it's actually working and not having problems!! I bought my brand new 2023 SL43 Roadster in November 2023, had the car for only 5 months and had to take my car into the dealership to fismx problems 7 times already! And the two MAJOR issues with it, was 1) the found sand inside the engine because of a manufacturer defect modeling problem with the thermostat and 2) the main fuse box had to be replaced due to a recall. AND currently I STILL have an issue with a buzzing sound coming from the rear of the car and all 7 times I've had the car in the dealership repair shop, they have not been able to solve the problem and get rid of the buzzing sound from the rear!! I've already started the repurchase/buyback process with Mercedes Headquarters. Like I said, worse benz I've ever bought! And I've had about 7 benz's over a 20 year period. And this being a BRAND NEW CAR and yet it's has had so many problems from day one of purchasing the car!

@@kilian0608 No I'm not an expert by any means, but I listen to them. For example they need trucks to transport the the chassis to the paint shop. Look at Porsche's Taycan factroy or how Tesla does this. There it's fully automated and takes less time it's not a bottleneck like here. Or look at how many pieces it takes to build the chassis. Tesla presses most its chassis in one piece. Much faster, lighter and better rigidity. I like MB but they have some catching up to do if they want to hold on their premium/luxury brand strategy
