In the UK they are virtually all petrol too. In fact I don't think they offered the "S" class with diesel.

That dawn degreaser is amazing stuff, it took the CV grease off my e430 frame when the boot failed. Cleaned up the engine compartment too !

I had a white 83 240d with a 4 speed manual. It had almost 400,000 miles when I finally sold it in 2014. I still miss that car.

Agree on the seatbelt release button... I learned somewhere that the key to good detailing/restoration is to fix whatever catches your eye.

I’m looking at a 1990 300E 2.6L with 187K it is rust free and looks good be well kept is there anything I should know before purchasing? I’ve done some light research on the w124 chassis and models and they seem solid but what should I know before making the purchase?
