👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Why you don’t make those springs and sell them? It’s just metric spring steel which is probably yellow zinc plated.

Ironically, I just replaced that spring today on the passenger door actuator on my 1985 300CD. As you know, the vacuum unit is different on the coupes! PS I attach the plastic to the door card itself;therefore, I do not have to pull off the plastic each time I work inside the door!

In a wet and high moisture environment like the Pacific Northwest, it is better to attach the plastic to the door to totally seal it
