You're welcome! If the striker alignment is not the issue on your car then most likely you'll need a new latch/lock assembly.

@@michaelthemercedesguy I actually mucked around with it using INOX penetrant on the latch and now it closes with a bit of persuasion hahaha. Thanks again, your channel is priceless resource for us stubborn old Benz owners.

In my car spacers or shims are shaped like an E letter of sorts, so they can be slided in and out with the four screws only loosened not removed.

Love your Chanel! I have a 75 280c, do you have any tips on window alighment? The fromt windows are angled towards the rear (sagging townwards rear of sriver and passanger window) from your videos I'd assume the window motor tabs are bent? Any advice? Haven't tore into it yet, I just bought the car. Thanks brother, keep up the good work!

There are two adjustable window stops that each have a green end that are inside the door. Try adjusting those. As for the fuel expansion tank, you need to get under the car and follow the two plastic lines to where they connect. One at the engine, and I can't remember remember where the other goes. It may easier to cut the lines near the expansion tank and put in hose end clamps.
