💙💙💙l had the privilege of being Mr. Pearts housekeeper many years ago.Neil and Jackie were so humble and sweet. Little Selena was so young 🤗She always wanted me to come upstairs to play in her beautiful bedroom. I remember opening the door to his "Game " room and cleaning all The Gold and Platinum Albums that lined the walls. At the end of the room sitting on a pedestal was his drum set in front of a huge window. Cleaning his beautiful office and the "Juno " awards sitting on the desk. He was a true gentleman who spoke so softly. I treasured every word you wrote, and thank you so much for sharing that!!! I didn't want your sentences to end, but it comforted me all the way reading your experience as a life long fan!! I have met Alex, and knew him through high school as his son went to the same school. He was a character beyond words, and I once met Neil's cousin, while I was reading Ghost Rider...out of the blew she saw me reading HIS book, and asked me what I thought of it! I told her how valuable that book was for anyone who had lost someone, irony, and when she told me who she was, it polarized me in that moment, one I never forgot!!! Last year, a friend of Neil's gave me one of his drum sticks. It was from a 2008 concert in Canada - I feel so honoured to have it, and the stories it could tell, only one could imagine.....

Geddy wants to keep playing. He can't sing like the 70s but still real good. Neil wanted to come off road and spend time with wife and daughter. HowardTheDork This has been covered numerous times and probably best in the Rush:Beyond The Lighted Stage documentary by Geddy Lee. He doesn’t hate fans and he appreciates the accolades bestowed upon him by them. He doesn’t set out to be rude or mean. Geddy said he’s simply a very shy person and he’s just not comfortable being around people he doesn’t know. He’s actually a very humble person and just doesn’t get why people make such a big fuss about him. You could sum it up as social anxiety I suppose. The man himself talks about it in the clip below kzbin.info/www/bejne/f52tZ6iaf7GAgdE

MorbidManMusic okay let's put it another way. A vast majority believe Neil Peart to be one of the best of all time. He is well above average. Millions of people don't think he's one of the greatest because he is average. Also he's in his fifties and has arthritis and what not. The dudes a machine and yes he's top 5 of all time. You can disagree all you want and say you have facts but again, it's not some magical unknown reason people consider him one of the greatest. it's because he's one of the greatest. I can appreciate your opinion but to say that he's "average" and not even top 1000? I only smoke top shelf. What the hell are you smoking? Is it a bandwagon thing? like lots of other people like him so you want to stand out and not be part of the train? come on guy. He's well above average. Top one percentile easily.
