Loads of people ask how to get accepted by MBA so I just wanted to share that all I wrote was that I was already selling successfully on Redbubble and Teepublic and wanted to get onto Amazon as well. I'm not saying this is a magic formula or anything stupid like that, but it shows you don't have to come up with something long and complex.
@LisaIrby4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing your story, Chris. Their acceptance process seems all over the place. My friend shared his professional design portfolio and he was declined. Others I know didn't share anything and got accepted. I also think they favor active Amazon buyers as well. But I agree that you should try to share as much about your previous online selling experience as possible. It certainly can't hurt.

Love your videos. I just tiered up and had a Covid related design rejected under the "human tragedy 2.5 rule." I contacted customer service about a potential Breast Cancer Awareness design. Was told i must first submit a design to determine if it falls under the human tragedy category. Has this happened to anyone?
@LisaIrby3 жыл бұрын
Breast cancer shirts used to be allowed, and I thought they still are. COVID shirts have never been allowed. The easiest way to tell is to look and see if there are any live that were published recently. Granted, nothing is as good as asking Amazon directly, but that's often a direct indication. Keep in mind, rules can change though.

I can understand the frustration when you're not selling. I felt the same way about RedBubble. It took me months to figure it out. But once I found one niche, I focused on that one keyword and scaled it vertically. I don't even do research there much anymore because I just stick with what works for me. I felt the same way about Zazzle, Society6, CafePress, etc. I could never figure those out. But thank goodness for Merch, RedBubble and a couple others. I had to keep trying new niches until I found something that sticks. I make most of my income from the same group of keywords now. Don't give up.

I showed one of my shirts once and ended up taking down the video. Someone thought they'd try to sabotage my account by reporting it. That's exactly why I don't show my designs and do everything under an alias. I make more with my designs than KZbin so I prefer to protect my niches and income.
