In this sewing video, I am sharing with you my latest dressmaking project and fave swishy top sewing pattern. This is my second Florence Top as I love it so much. I made this one using the prettiest ditsy floral fabric for a completely different look to my first one! It has so much movement and is so feminine and I feel amazing when I wear it and that's what I love about being a seamstress. Hi Jayne, you should feel great in your top...it's gorgeous and such a pretty fabric 💟. The binding on the neck of your other top looks lovely and was a great idea 👌... well done Mum 😉. It's brilliant that you can pass things on to your daughter or Mum and how lucky must they feel when you do 😁. It looks so fab with your high waisted trousers, which also look fantastic on 💕. Hi, I agree with you, I won't wear anything that I make unless it makes me feel good. It is a 2 point, my sewing has to be good and the style has to be me. I don't like it when my husband says 'it's o.k.' when I show him a new make, not good enough! I know that we are own worst enemy. Thank you for doing these videos. I hope that I don't miss any now that You Tube have stopped emailing when new videos are uploaded.

Hi Christine, yes I totally agree with you. You can still be notified when I bring out a new vlog simply click the little bell on my channel .... 3 bells will show and then click the top bell that looks like its ringing this will then notify you of my vlogs. Jayne x

@@TheDressmakersCloset I have the ringing bell clicked on all my subscribed You Tube channels but stopped receiving emails after 13th August. I received all my emails prior to this date. Don't know if you have more contact with You Tube for more info. After spending hours trying to find what has gone wrong I found a post from a You Tube employee saying that from 13th Aug. they are no longer emailing when a video is released as not many people take notice of these email! I must be a small minority!!!!

Thanks for the pep talk-I needed that today as I shake my head over another armseye fail on good fabric! I was making a dress but have decided I still have enough body of the shift style dress to make a top with a better fit. So discouraging, but, life’s too short to settle for a poor fit!
