@@santioned_sneh Yeah, the original game is kind of infamous for the fact that you can just buy a rocket launcher to effectively stroll past most, if not all of the bosses. The Devs were evidently aware of this and are poking fun at the original games fanbase.

Honestly it all comes down to *personal preference* Do you prefer a merchant that is always go straight to the point (Original) or do you prefer a merchant that has more personality (Remake) I for one, like the Remake, sure the original is iconic, but I want the merchant to actually be part inside of the game's world not inside the boundary between in-game and the game's mechanic

My only gripe with the merchant is that Capcom didn't really DO anything with him. I'd have loved if they made him more part of the story, like Duke from RE Village, or if Leon and Ashley talked back with him.

It really all started with. The demand for fun and interesting wepon vendors in Resident Evil games. For the next numbered entry I'd love to see him and duke and Co business partners selling thing's to the player and interacting with eachother. Or a new merchant to help us.
