He was already incredibly weak by that time. His mutation was kind of a last resort to get rid of Leon. That parasite was weakened as well from their fighting, making him able to be killed from the knife. But I like this death better than the original. Kinda makes you think he could’ve changed and been the good guy again. He accepted defeat. Maybe he could’ve accepted he was wrong.

the verdugo is actually the only enemy that will survive a single hit of the rocket launcher if he isn't dipped in nitrogen first. Krauser just has a new hp bar on every spot so it looks like he is surviving but he isn't.

you missed a Dr. Salvador at the village, if you try to escape via the farm before you go into the house with the shotgun, you will trigger an extra Salvador, kill him and enter the shotgun house, then the usual Salvador will appear(this works in both classic and remake). but bear in mind that you have to kill the extra one before entering the shotgun house to trigger the usual one. because the game only limits one of them to chase you and BTW, the right way of shooting the rocket and to shot it onto the ground in front of you enemy, that way, you wont miss even if the enemy decided to dodge at the last second
