Square should be a good option for most mobile businesses unless you're operating in some very remote locations. Hi there! Global Payments is not a processor that we would recommend to a small business. They're expensive, especially for low-volume merchants, and require a long-term contract with an early termination fee and automatic renewal clause. By contrast, Square is free to use with no contract, and its flat-rate pricing is cost effective for new, low-volume businesses. Global Payments would only make sense for very large businesses and even with a large business there are better options out there. We hope this helps!

​@@jutdeEven if she is in fact sponsored by them, she is not wrong. Square is more geared towards smaller businesses, that is one of their biggest selling points. That and through square, they can even offer you business loans directly through their processing systems based on your processing value and projected growth, and the loans they offer are easy to accept and easy to pay back as they're paid back automatically through your daily sales. If you have a larger business, processing companies such as Clover would likely serve you a lot better.

Can you just manage your inventory by using square on your computer? The same question also with generating reports?

yes. You may be able to generate a report with a higher tier plan on square. but using mid to low tier square options you have the ability to add apps that integrate with your square account. in this instance it would be a good idea to get the quickbooks app on your square account for something along the lines of reports.

Great question! Yes, you can manage your inventory and generate reports all through your online Square Dashboard which comes free with your Square account. Absolutely! With Square Terminal, you can set up multiple locations and easily switch between them using the Square dashboard. You can even link different bank accounts to each location. Also, Square should be a good option for most mobile businesses unless you're operating in a very remote location. But don’t worry-if you ever lose connection, there’s an offline mode that lets you continue accepting payments! When I make a payment, does the customer choose if they want a receipt like on the register or does it print one regardless

You have the option to choose whether receipts print automatically or manually. Just head over to the Checkout tab in Settings, and you’ll find the option to toggle receipt printing on or off under Signature and Receipts. Hope this helps! 😊

Can this device connect to a samsung tab s9 plus FE? I work in a salon and I was planning to use the tablet as my screen for ringing customers out using square appointments, customer info, and all of my apps I may need to run my business...but I just need something to process payments. I had planned to just buy the small chip reader but apparently that won't connect to a tab s9. Which is weird to me since the tablet is brand new. But I figured maybe if I got thr terminal, that would work??

Square is usually pretty good with the tablets they're compatible with but this one isn't listed on their website. You could call them directly just to double-check but it looks like both Shopify and eHopper have similar card readers that would work with that tablet and, between those two, we would lean suggest Shopify.
