Thanks for the video but I would up the complexity. Just finished my first play with the Captain. Felt very frustrating at times. Too little movement and getting goods in time to get back to port for the market. You either have to fish or get treasure chests which then leaves you no ship out to get sponsorship nor coins for the next round. I couldn't believe I had to spend my full second day getting back those coins (getting tons of corruption in order to do other actions during that day - if not then you will only have time to get the coins almost) and hire staff because you can't just stay on the same navigation of course. Anyway, I need to get better at it. I'm saddened for that reason they removed the 2 coins one gets from sponsors like in the prototype. Oh and instead of the third action on the Townfolk being 'get a treasure chest' it's been changed to get a coin back. Ok, so that makes my first Townfolk's action free now but doesn't get me any goods which are already finicky cause I only get the chest I turn, not the color I want to make like other characters. Glad I'm not afraid to make up house rules to make the character enjoyable if I experience the same issues again and again cause this time wasn't as much fun. My hubby had fun with the Blacksmith which allowed you really nice combo and multi bonus turns in comparison. :)

You were NOT clear if you flip the treasure chest as soon as the ship enters the zone or only when the ship STOPS in the zone.

Why you're using captain's storage upside down? :)

I’ve played this character twice, and although the rules are not complex, I felt that it wasn’t intuitive on how to play it well. It seemed almost impossible to get sponsorships with the Captain, unless you didn’t do an import action.
