Can you do a video on the bravo 3 prop shaft seal replacement

It seems like these days its more cost effective in the long run to replace the lower unit. As a certified Mercruiser dealer we rarely do complete rebuilds any longer. As the quality of the drives has improved over the past 10 years much of this can be attributed to improved assembly requirements, etc. It is very difficult for a dealer to comply with this at the same level as the factory. Therefore we normally replace complete uppers and lowers.

i know this was 9 years ago and it might have been more cost effective then. now a lower unit costs 4-$5000. just bought a boat from and individual and my lower is bad im without words and trying to figure how i can afford to fix it.

We have a Bravo 1 . Is there much of a difference to the Bravo 3? We are being charged $540 to disassemble and an additional $540 to reassemble. Does this sound like a fare price to do the job?

Do you have any idea if the prop shaft on one of these would fit inside the gear case of an old 200 black max? I’d really like to have the dual prop set up on my flats boat so it could hole shot better and run really shallow.
