Mercury 10x19p alloy prop

Just giving the tinny a quick run with my old mercury 10x19p alloy prop

Thanks mate the boat is a stessl edge tracker slimline The motor is an 05 mercury 60 with boysen reeds in it

That is amazing speed, i certainly wish working out which prop is correct was easier

@@merc625 Its the hull pre millennium, its not tiller as i sit up the front. The current prop has 13 1/4 x 17-K written on it

Cool I assume it’s a 4 stroke with the high thrust gearbox to be running a 17p 17p might be a bit much for that size boat, have you tried a 15p

Hi Champion, Love the vid 👍 Just want to ask about what tiller you got to fit that 60hp and noticed your running some sort of ram for steering torque? Got the same motor and hoping to tiller but my neck now has issues, is it hard to tiller is my question? Cheers Aussie Boat Guy 😎

It’s a merc big tiller mate Yeah it’s pretty easy to steer. But when it’s jacked right up it has a lot of tiller torque The steering damper is the same as they use on Thundercats it’s pretty good a lot better then the rod and clamp style ones
