"nkelly3" .... I hope you are still around and I can ask you some questions! I just changed my gaskets today (I hope I did them right) ....Inside the 'screen assembly unit' do you need a "special tool" to get the 2 screws out on the underside where the 'Teflon/plastic washers go? .... I tried all kinds of 'tips' that I have .... none worked, so I didn't change these .... also, on the screen and 'o' ring ...... where exactly does the 'o' ring go ..... in first then the screen? or the screen first and then the 'o' ring? ..... also on this 'housing' on the face are some 'markings' and the screen cover moves .... left to right .... is this a "Adjustment" of some type for gas flow ???? ..... here is my e-mail addy: [e-mail] ... of on F B my page Herman Kovar .... and we can talk please ?? !!!

Question, I am needing to rebuild one of these fuel pumps, do I need a check valve kit as well as a gasket kit? I'm having to pump bulb while motor is running to get it to achieve wot

Hello, I got the kit but it only came with the top 3 gaskets. Where do I get the other one from? Part #'s if you have them. Thank you

My tower of power runs fine on land with water muffs on. Once I put it in the lake it runs for about 5 min. Then Boggs down and shuts off. I know nothing about it. Where should I start looking. I am some what mechanically inclined.

Mine did the exact same thing until I rebuilt the fuel pump with o rings an gaskets

An easy first check is to take your gas tank cap off to make sure it is not your fuel tank vent plugged. Also some fuel lines have an inner lining that can collapse and restrict flow to the fuel pump.
