Mercury 115 (L6) Lowered Motor & Installed Hydrofoil again, cavitation solved

I lowered the jack plate by 2 inches and also installed the Hydrofoil again. That solved the cavitation issue. After 2 short test runs I raised the jack plate by about 1 inch. That put the prop height just below cavitation, for max speed and least amount of drag. Notice how the Hydrofoil planes just on top of the surface (last part of the video). Next I have to move some weight to the front of the boat. The stern is just too deep in the water, causing the boat still somewhat to porpoise. I'm thinking of relocating the battery to the front and also adding an anchor locker at the front to keep the safety stuff, anchor and other things forward to help with the balance. Nothing some plywood and fiberglass couldn't fix. It's all still experimental.

Hey do you still have that 24 pitch prop on there and if so where did you get it or what brand is it. I have a 115 on a kona makai 18 foot and im trying to get mor speed out of it

I still have the 24 pitch prop. But I'm selling it since the 23 pitch that I just installed works better with my boat. I think it's more the fact that the 23p has a 12.5" diameter and the 24p a 13.5" diameter. I was shopping around for a 12.5" either 23 or 24p, and it so happened that I found this 23p locally
