Mercury 4hp Outboard Engine - Showcase

Just showing some of the features from the new 4hp Mercury Outboard I recently got. Absolutely love it. Very quiet compared to other engines and very well built.

Just saying if you get a tiller extension and sit at the front it will go twice that speed

i just bought a Merc 4 hp 4 stroke for my square back canoe. is it my motor only or does it top out at about half throttle? i just have it on a stand for break in but a little after "restart", it seems to top out. i pulled the cowling and the cables keep moving but the tone of the engine doesnt change.

I had a 4HP just like that, until some ass stole it. I replaced it with a 5HP. works just as well.

I wanted to ask you if you put the rod holders on yourself or did the boat come with them. I have a Saturn SK385XL and want to add some rod holders just nee to know if you glued these on yourself. I also have a Mercury 4 hp 4 stroke that I upgraded to a 6 hp by changing the carb and prop, it definitely made a difference. I also added a hydro foil to the motor to help plane the boat faster.

I did add them myself! And they held up really well for the year I used the boat. I don't have it anymore.

It is the 10.8' bris inflatable with the inflatable floorboard not the aluminum one. It has been a seriously wonderful boat for $1000

Your shaft it's too deep down ,javitation plate should be on line with bottom of your boat....

I'm not really sure how much I can adjust that. I already bought the shortest shaft

You could put some timber on the top of the transom and then put the engine on the back on your boat, that should help..

Then you must make the mirror 5 cm higher i did it to first a lot of tumbling behind the boat now realy smooth first it cost a lot op gasoline now whey more better and for now no licience to fast i must buy a smaller engine 😂​@@FishAesthetic
