Thank you for sharing. Really relate to this. I have mutual reception of my Mercury (12th house Sagittarius) and Jupiter (9th house Virgo). I'm an artist myself and I also lecture in various occult and mystical modalities such as Astrology and Palmistry, and also Psychology in my local spiritual community. I have quite a diverse and broad view of the world but am also very analytical and detailed oriented. Am good at synthesising vast amounts of information from different sources into a larger framework of understanding. I can expand and then go into the minute details very easily, such that, sometimes my lectures overrun their time limit because too much information, and too many perspectives! Also relate to the criticality and cautiousness that comes with Mercury, but also the optimistic, easy-going and relatable nature of Jupiter. My head is both in the clouds, and grounded in reality at the same time. I need the proof, and I need the faith.

Thank you Ryan. Have not seen Mer Jup conjunction spoken about in quite this way before but I can absolutely relate to what you are saying here. I have e tendency to get caught up in detail, technicality and perfectionism; I'm sure this is somewhat exacerbate by the fact that these planets are placed in 7th house Virgo. Much like Mrs AstroLover I also have Saturn as part of this picture which probably makes me even more exacting. Jup is 29 degrees of Virgo and then Pluto is just inside Libra (conj Sun), though Jup and Plu are not strictly speaking in conj I think their close proximity adds an obsessive quality to my fact gather and detail focusing tendencies. I'm a creative individual but I almost turn all creative exercises into an insurmountable challenge owed to my hyper diligence to technicality and detail. Your discussion here really helped me put my finger on what is going on here!! You can imagine what this combo has a tendency to do to one 2 one relationships if I don't try and keep myself in in harness.

Yes your correct. My Mercury and Jupiter are in Gemini in my fourth house with my Sun. Fortunately, my planets are spread out in Gemini between 0:16 to 28:30 degrees. Thanks for the insight.

I have Jupiter Sun Mercury conjunction in 10th of Leo(although I prefer Virgo using Kala). Perhaps it's a good thing that mercury isn't exalted here as you say strong mercury tends to drain jupiter, but in turn the strong sun really exhausts both mercury and jupiter. So, which one is worse? I wouldn't know. Also having saturn sitting with moon in 3rd under such close proximity interferes with the benefits of this yoga in 10th in my personal experience... Ooop! and also debilitated venus doesn't lend a helping hand with anything either.

Trisha Lee Trust the lord,everything would turn out to be good....I have this conjuction too but mine has rahu and venus in the very same house too of libra my 5th house ....Mercury trisha is my asc lord and at the same time holding the lowest degree in the conjuction,my Jupiter and rahu are in the same nakshatra and even in the same pada of vishaka pada 1,if rahu is there,right across in my 11th ketu is there....imagine that Trisha lolx...whose having more crap on them hahax
