They are similar. I just recommend you buy an electric pump , transom wheels, and don't go beyond 9.8hp.

Got a 2.4mtr with air deck and a 15hp on the back. Use it as a tender to my houseboat, goes great. After you have locked the valves in the open position and most of the air is out, you use the deflate option on the pump and the boat can be reduced to a much smaller size😀😀

So today I went out on my dinghy with 2.3 Honda just for a cruise around than on my way back the engine makes a ting sound and starts to accelerate fast faster than its ever gone before about 7 -9 knots and the throttle at this point doesn't seem to do anything. At this point, it's on a steep plane and which it has never done before. so basically the engine went into overdrive. I don't understand what caused it. can anyone explain?

You put the motor in the wrong way to ground. It is not allowed to be stored frontside up.

You need very strong muscles , strong spine and lots of patience to obtain 11 psi. It will be like doing 200 push ups before going into water. Electric pump is a must if you inflate and deflate at every use. Hand/foot pump can be used up to 250cm maybe 270cm air deck boats.

Shame the bloke forgot all about showing how to hookup the motor and fuel tank, would have been nice seeing the fishing rods in the holders, would have liked to have seen some fishing hooks trying to cut holes through it, guess I won't be buying it.
