Really appreciate the info, I have the same engine and serviced it for the first time this fall. That bottom spark plug really drove me crazy.

Isn’t that crazy, how hard it is? You know what else is very difficult is replacing the fuel rail fuel filter. The one located in the bottom of the fuel rail. You pretty much have to remove the lower cowling. If you ever need that vid let me know. It’s on my channel too.

The plugs that came out were .28...the new plgs were .30 and adjusted to .32 on my motor.

I wish I had checked all the old ones but I definitely checked the new ones. I also bought a feeler gauge and like it much better 😃

Appreciate the video...the bottom plug is extremely annoying, and being a blind plug, is more susceptible to stripping the threads. I like to start the plugs by hand before attaching the ratchet.

@@Gabe-kv2zs absolutely the best way, start by hand until you are confident then go for it 😎

This was a great video! The step by step and tips were awesome! I'm surprised that NGK don't have the plugs gapped already. Did you not put dielectric grease on the plug because the factory stuff was sufficient?
@PaulsOutdoorAcademy9 ай бұрын
It seemed to me like there was quite a bit still there so I just used that. Next time around I probably will 😎 thank you for the compliments and questions!

I dont recommend removing the plugs with the wrench as demonstrated here. I did it just as he showed and broke off the metal sleeve inside the boot head on two of my wires. Now I have to buy two new wires.

@@tinydancer1cm is it possible you had some corrosion ? I can’t figure out how that would have happened.
