I got mine working this weekend, still need to fix the speed issue (not constant and a bit slow). Thank you for the video and thread on vinylengine! The sound quality is much better than what comes through in this video, imho.

@@navavids Could you tell me the dimensions of the belts you used? I have an assortment of belts, it would spare me of potentially getting lost in trial and error.

@@Friendroid Sorry, just seeing this. i'm probably too late. I ordered them from Turntable Needles or something. Here's a link to the page on the thread on Vinyl Engine where a guy mentions where to get them. Maybe you can figure out the size from that. Good Luck. www.vinylengine.com/turntable_forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=113605&start=12

Thanks. I was just happy to get it working again after finding it in my grandma's attic after all these years. Cheers.

Hello. I'm trying to fix this turntable as it's a precious memory of mine. I wanted to know if have youinformation about the spring used (signaled in the photo - drive.google.com/file/d/1-SiHThcLCpc7IGIippHBhLv6QjdbtB5j/view?usp=sharing)? because the spring is not present in my turntable Very thanks.🙏

I think it's about an inch long. Mine was corroded and the hook on the tip broke off, but I was able to make it work. ( Sorry, I can't access your photo) Maybe you can see it in this photo near the top? It's rusted. It hooks to the metal arm and the plastic nob above it. snavarrephotography.smugmug.com/Vintage-Audio/TheSymphonettePortableTurntable/i-KmTKL54/A
