I had the opportunity of visiting the Africa Mercy in 2009 when it was docked in Benin. I saw first hand what this extraordinary organization does. You cannot comprehend the impact it has on a country through the work it undertakes. Not just on board but within the communities by training and developing ideas that local people can adopt even down to growing nutritious foods. And all of the volunteers pay for the privilege of working on board. This is a true charity at work.
@randomvintagefilm2732 жыл бұрын
Wow, the volunteers even pay there way? That's amazing. I feel bad for the people who live too far inland to get to the ship.

@@randomvintagefilm273 In Africa around 60% of the people live within 100 km of the coast that is why the ships work so good because many people can come to them relativly easy, also ther are other organisations like MAF for example who fly with planes to help people so a lot of people are already helped. Having said that if the could get a helicopter to help even more people that ofcourse would be amazing.

The introduction of the Global Mercy is such a Mightly Blessing. God has the Glory indeed 🙏 'HELLO' to Dr, GARY PARKER on the Africa Mercy. It's many years since we last met you Gary, but Dion and I still think and pray for you. Hard to believe its 33 years in May since you attended our Wedding, (and 37 years since we 3 first met at Sussex Street) He's still the same amazing man ♥ and we, and our 2 sons, have lived and worked in 3 different Countries since then. Praise Jesus, He has been a constant Presence and Blessing over our lives . Hope you and your family are well, and , by a miracle, somebody passes this on to you X

If I should win the lottery, and I don't play often, I will donate 10% of my winnings to your efforts. What you are doing is understandably seen as a miracle in the eyes of the beneficiaries allowing them cause to blame it on God. If what I learned as an alter boy over 70 years ago was true, God is responsible for their condition. You might Google "The 50 most brilliant atheists of all times" for conformation. Back to the real world; Believe what you care to, but it's true, your work is Godlike. In the 4 months since this video was posted 2,700,000 human beings died of starvation. That's 9,000,000 every year?? My feelings on that are too complicated to express. I wish you all a long life of good health and happiness!!
@TBNUKtv Жыл бұрын
Hi Jack, if you do decide to donate, you can do so via this link: mercyships.org.uk/tbn
@Linda-bj3bb Жыл бұрын
An Atheists is a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods. That's Google. So if Atheists are blaming God then they believe that there is a God to blame. If they don't believe and are true Atheists why don't they blame the moon or crystals or something other than God (that isn't there) that they supposedly don't believe in. OR is it convenient to have a God when things can and will go wrong? "Are your 50 friends on Google committed atheist"? Then they must leave our God out of their picture completely. Just because they don't believe in Him, his not going away some time soon.
