I know you were bummed about your trip being delayed, but I think you were meant to go in the fall. I just kept thinking about how perfect this was for you as a big fall (and recently cold weather) fan. Also, it's so nice being able to watch these in the correct season now that I'm all caught up vs binging all your fall and winter vlogs during the summer haha.

Thank you for saying that- and I agree! I think it was so much better being there during cozy season when it wasn't super busy. 🥰

Oh wow, that is so picturesque!! I can’t wait to see the rest of your adventures!❤ I am always here for an anti-car rant btw, I absolutely hate driving in my town. Also, I have a friend who got hopelessly lost in Bergen once and it was very funny 😂

Awww, it looks like a great, relaxing way to start your trip! I think I'm conditioned by trips with my family growing up to think you have to do SO MANY things every day, see literally ALL THERE IS to see in every place you go, that I feel bad when I have a quiet day with maybe one thing planned (even if it's a big thing like *hiking up a freakin mountain!*). I'm glad you got to get away and enjoy some peaceful nature and quiet little towns

Yes!! The second half of our trip was more like that, but honestly I prefer just hunkering down in one amazing place and really sitting and enjoying it!! I even like returning to the same restaurants every night- it feels comforting to get a routine going!

Hey Hey Meredith & Brian, Scandinavia huh - it looks spectacularly beautiful, especially without tourists clogging up the streets! Slack jaw = jet lag to me any day of the week by the way! Keep on enjoying your time away (snacks n all, including a warming cup of tea) & I’ve been wanting to comment on your music choices for your vlogs for such a long time - whether it’s Vulfpeck, Clark or Mark …. it’s FREAKN FANTASTIC! ❤️

How wonderful!! I’ve been dreaming of going to Norway for years. Your trip reminds me of when I visited New Zealand in their early wintertime - wet, cold, basically empty of tourists, still drop dead gorgeous. It’s a fun, calm way to travel!!

This fall, I have discovered that autumn is my favorite season, and I just LOVE the way all the trees are changing color!! The trees, at least here in Oslo, are soo cute right now🍁🍂 I'm so sad for it to be over soon and for them to lose their leafs, but then I'll be excited for christmas❤ I'm so glad you guys got to go to Balestrand in the fall, I bet it was beautiful🤗

@MerediddyS2 ай бұрын
omg sock mending!!!! I want to learn
@meikeklok2 ай бұрын
@@MerediddyS It's not too difficult actually and pretty easy to try it out! All you need is a sock with an almost-hole or tiny hole (that's easier to start with), a bit of yarn/thread (i like using rainbow on black socks, but you could try to find some matching), a needle (depending on the type of sock either a thick sewing needle or a tapestry needle) and the first time I tried it I used a cup/mug and an elastic to put tension on the sock, but you can also use a tennis ball or an actually darning mushroom/egg. Once you have your supplies all you do is weave over the hole first horizontally and then vertically. Mending/darning is really low risk, because you'd probably throw out the sock if you didn't try so if it goes horribly wrong you just do that anyway 😅 Good luck if you give it a try! 😊

This is just so stunning, thank you for taking us along! Also, so happy to see someone try out Interview with the Vampire- I'll be curious what you think because it's a very intense, graphic, traumatic show and I'm not sure based on some previous book reviews etc. whether it's something you'd be into! I for one love it I think it's very well done, but I also know it's not for everyone.
