Don’t know if my comment about your music additions got through on Part 1 of your Scandinavian vlog BUT I’ll say it once more: whether it’s Clark, Mark or Jim (or you too Meredith), the soundtrack adds just the right amount of ‘everything’ to your vlogs! Brilliant stuff guys - I love it like a comfy pair of slippers!

Hulder is a supernatural, female being in Norwegian folklore and legend. She is stronger and more beautiful than human women, but has a hollow back and a cow's tail. A hulder is seductive and has a beautiful voice. She can bewitch people, that is, lure them to her and hold them captive. Huldre are invisible, but can suddenly appear and then disappear again just as quickly. ETYMOLOGY of Old Norse hylja, ‘hide’. In the 19th century, several authors and artists depicted hulders in poems, plays and fairy tales. Huldra was often a personification of Norwegian nature. In more recent times, huldra has also been given positive qualities and values that modern women would like to strive for, such as strength, courage and boldness. A hulder mostly appears alone, but is also part of a community, the huldre people. The huldre people are a collective term for various supernatural beings. They are also called the underground ones. The Huldre people have magical powers and live longer than humans. They live in close connection with nature and farm life. Most of them live lives similar to those of humans. They have families and farm, or make a living from fishing or trade. Unlike humans, the Huldre people live in an "ideal world". They often have great wealth and plenty of food. The Huldre have beautiful voices and are exceptionally good at luring their livestock. The Huldre cows are black, white or spotted. The Huldre cows are larger, more beautiful and more well-groomed than ordinary cows. The stories about the Huldre originated in the pre-modern farming and fishing community. They were passed down orally, and were written down in the 19th and 20th centuries. There are a large number of legends and memoirs about the Huldre and the Huldre people in the Norwegian Folklore Collection and other collections of traditions. Asbjørnsen and Moe's Norwegian Huldre Tales and Folk Tales is the best known. The belief in an invisible people with a close connection to nature is found in various countries and cultures, for example nymphs and dryads in Greek mythology, jinn in Arabic tradition and peri in Persian. In Europe, fairies and elves from Britain and Ireland are well-known variants.
