The otter deck definitely counts as an otter deck. Game wouldn't be interesting if Matthew was forced to play all the draft chaff otters and it looks like he's on pretty much all the playable ones.

These comm games are less often but that's ok, because the quality is so high, even more now. ❤ Have to state the obvious on the game, because Matt's deck was cool but the only deck not typal / tribal best. Has some cute otters, just a storm deck tho. Great jokes all game 😂😂 My favorite typal deck in the game was Paul's merfolk, I know most of you guys had to play defense so you didn't get to pop off as much. After Matthew it was prob darryl's humans. 😊

Please correct me if i'm wrong (because i've got my own otter deck and would love to know!) but with offspring being an additional cost to cast the spell and not a regular effect of the creature, when copying corruscation mage, shouldn't you *NOT* get additional offspring? When i've played it and copy it i get one mage, one offspring and one mage copy. Following this, when the original mage was countered, there should only have been 2 copy mages that hit the board, not 2+2 offspring. I'm hoping i'm wrong though as that would make Alania even more busted!

I'm very disappointed the turn Matthew started to show his deck actually played otters by exiling them with Season of the Bold exclaiming "All my otters!" and the comment was "...and a counterspell" he didn't think of calling it "An OTTER you can't refuse"!

So this is a tournament right ? so after the first few winners you should start a bracket... we need winners against winners till only one tribe is left standing. Clear destincitions between wizards and otters necessary though. Wizards come in all shapes and sizes ^^ Kinda needs to be disqualified ^^

The best creature type is Snake. In magic anyway. The only other type that comes close to Snake is Dwarf.

as Alania player, i think matthew might played it incorrectly? alania triggers is whenever you play first instant, sorcery or otter, you may have opponent draw a card. if you do, copy that spell; its not "gift a card" like the spells. so matthew only target 1 opponent draw a card and then it copies that spell. and i also tell others its my otter deck when actually its wizard typal deck. xD

You've gotten it wrong. You can only copy the card if you make your opponent draws.

@@goergerakly1496 yep, so you let an opponent draws a card. If you do, copy that spell. But I see Matthew gives 2 players draws the card when he casts first of those spells in order to have the copy.
