Merge in Power Query [Power Query in Excel and Power BI Series - Ep. 3]

In this video, Allison goes into Power Query in Excel and in Power BI and shows how you can combine two data sources with the same row structure by doing a Merge. She walks through choosing the correct Join for your data, what you should keep in mind, and shows how to do the Merge process. She also covers the difference between a Merge and a Merge as New. For this episode in the Power Query Series, we start with Power Query in Power BI and then show the steps are results in Power Query in Excel at the end.

Very good film. Thx! Good to know we can use more than one column in merge process. Before I just created temporary column as Name&Year and merged by this. BTW as an analyst I never ever delete any valid data from my bucket. Only invalid one (errors). IMVHO delete any information is wrong ETL process. But it's just me.
