You've seen Manila viewpoint East ( Antipolo ), What if you go to Manila viewpoint WEST ( Bataan ) Take a Ferry from MOA to Bataan. Yes you can also see Manila's skyline from there, and you'll need at least a Day Trip, because there are 15 places you are going to like in this province. A can't miss is Mount Samat, and also Playa La Caleta Beach, and Las Casas Filipinas de Azucar Tours ( here you will see how the houses were built during Spanish times, and you recall those light posts at Jones Bridge? those were made there, and donated by the owner of the place to the City Of Manila )

Thank you for your very informative, descriptive and entertaining vlogs of the parts of the Philippines I have never been to. Your climb to the top of Cloud 9 surely was very heartbeat-stopping . I am from the Philippines living overseas for 48 years. Please visit the Bicol Region (Albay, Legaspi City) where the volcano with a perfect cone is - the Mayon Volcano. It is under two hours by plane from Manila. I look forward to your next travel vlog. Take care or 'ingat' as we Filipinos would say .

My hands were sweating just watching you walking that bridge, and one handed at that. I'm scared of heights so too wimpy to do that. Thanks for showing Rizal Province. I love Tanay (which i hope you'll visit too). It's not as touristy as Tagaytay, and they have a 'sea of clouds' attraction in the many mountain resorts there. Jose Rizal is our national hero. He was not directly involved in the Philippine Revolution against Spain, but his novels - Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo - are often cited as part of the inspiration for the revolution. And they also led to his execution by firing squad for the crime of rebellion in Bagumbayan, now Luneta Park. The Rizal Monument there has his skeletal remains beneath it and is guarded continuously by the Phil. Marines Corp.. And i believe his vertebra, the one that got hit by the bullet when he was executed, is also on display in the Rizal Shrine at Fort Santiago where he was imprisoned. Jose Rizal was also a doctor (Opthalmologist), and a polyglot. He has numerous monuments here and in other countries as well.

Hello Mergim, if you ever want to experience fishing, I'd recommend on going to Bulawan Floating Restaurant. I've also ordered some food at the place and it was delicious. Tips: (based on my personal experience) Bait - the bait you put depends whether the fish is a fighter or not. I'd recommend to put a medium sized one. Fishing rod - when you throw the hook into the water, you must kind of move the rod slowly in any direction to attract the fish, then away from the fish once you know something is eating your bait. If the tug is kind of strong, get ready to pull it. And finally, this is a process of trial and error. Have fun in Rizal!

WILLY'S SOLD HIS PLACE & IT BECAME A BAR I THINK, WE'VE LOST TOUCH WITH THAT AREA. WHEN I STARTED DRIVING I'D ENJOY DRIVING UP & DOWN SUMULONG HIWAY TO GET TO MARCOS HIWAY OR MARIKINA, THAT WAS MY FAVORITE ROUTE TO TAKE, BCOZ ORTIGAS EXTENSION HIWAY WAS MOSTLY TRAFFIC HELL HAHAHAAAHAHAAAA! Welcome to our city. 🥰 Antipolo City, Rizal is part of the long mountain range called Sierra Madre, it runs from the province of Cagayan in the north down to the province of Quezon in the South. I would suggest explore Rizal Province more because there's so much to see than Rizaleños can explain.

Mergim, You mentioned about Filipino weaponry? One famous Martial Arts used by Filipinos is the art of ARNIS / ESKRIMA and this was popularized by the late Martial Artist , Bruce Lee, who was a close very friend of Dan Inosanto ( a Filipino-American living in California ) who taught Bruce Lee the art of ARNIS. This art of ARNIS was even demonstrated in one of Bruce Lee famous movie: " ENTER THE DRAGON !" Bruce Lee used two wooden staff ( normally made of RATTAN ) to defend himself against a group of thugs and successfully beat all of them. And in one scene , Bruce Lee used the NANCHUCKS in which Dan Inosanto also taught Bruce Lee how to use it. 😀

The Antipolo government lacks vision- they should build a park & build an Eiffel or Tokyo Tower-like viewpoint, it will immediately become a tourist spot. That will have the best view of Manila, without obstructions like the communication tower near Cloud9

I’ve never heard about Cloud 9 and hardly ever been to Antipolo, Rizal. I’m from Manila growing up we never have places that were developed that people can go to safety. I think they should make that cafe like Starbucks so more people will hang out there, and a good restaurant with delicious Filipino dishes.

I don't think I can walk thru that hanging bridge. My knees would be shaking much more than the shaking of the bridge. But the view is really spectacular. The mountains you were seeing is most probably the Sierra Madre mountain range. That mountain range protects Metro Manila from being devastated heavily by a typhoon.

We crossed one bridge like that in Singapore and we hopped like a kangaroo all the way but it's wider and feel safer and the floors are wooden planks. Those who were not hopping can still feel the hop for some time after they crossed the bridge. Then another one in Quezon province but that one is way scarier because there are no floors you step on a single rope but there are ropes that you can grab and will also prevent you from falling.
@virgiliod.94362 жыл бұрын
That bridge in Quezon province is to cross a raging river to reach an isolated community and absolutely not for tourism. I forget already where that is. Maybe they have a better bridge now. Not sure if it's in Quezon because we went to so many places: Pangasinan, Nueva Viscaya, Quezon.
