This is an Abt-lead presentation at the Global Digital Health Forum 2023. In the age of escalating climate crises - from unforgiving heatwaves to devastating floods - the symbiosis between climate and health information emerges as a pivotal axis. Merging climate and health data can allow us to predict disease outbreaks following climate events or assess the vulnerability of communities to climate-induced health challenges. Such synergy is imperative in today's digital health landscape, where we can proactively develop interventions, consequently improving health outcomes.
Addressing this confluence, our panel of experts who have worked at the crux of climate, health, and data science delve into the paramount importance of amalgamating climate and health information and data. The panel discussion not only elucidates the immediate impacts on global health but also the potential power of predictive analytics to preempt future challenges.
