I still don’t understand why they removed Jasmine’s tiara for the ShopDisney release. I’m still hip to buy these two and Snow White when I go to Disney World. Hopefully we’ll get Snow White’s release date soon.

This snow white doll I got in advance was bought by a friend of mine at Disneyland Paris and he send it over to me just the dress that I use on my Tonner doll I believe the actual date for shopdisney will be somewhere in December so I would give it ago if youre around P xXx

Your reviews are always so thorough, love them! I’m waiting for my general release Jasmine to arrive, and I personally think that she is gorgeous in her “simplicity”. She is missing some details, yes, but may be it makes the design not so overloaded. I also love that Disney put really good quality fabrics in the designs of all the releases this year.

Dear Mario. This is so AWSOME I enjoy both versions very much and so cool to see the detailes side by side. I recently received the general release Snow White Dress that I requested to a friend that got it for me at Disneyland and send it over and I used one of my Robert Tonner Snow White Dolls to display it and im so in love, in case you want to check out. You are such an important refernce to me and I hope I didnt say anything wrong in my review as I tried to go over what I believe is differentr between the D23 and the upcoming general release for Snow White. That is what I did. I just purchased the D23 Jasmine on Mercari this morning and 8 people had her in there cart and I snag it up quickly. One of lowest prices that was left. Yes I rather pay a little more for more details. Goodluck in getting the D23 version of Jasmine!

I snagged Jasmine, but not sure if I should get Merida... I've herd rumours of a general release Giselle but I don't know when/if she will release. Gotta watch the budget! Edit: I ended up snagging Merida as well :)

Sadly, Giselle was a D23 exclusive only. The one was rumored was a fake created by someone who wanted to tease us. But I’m pretty sure that we’ll get another Giselle doll soon, because Disenchanted is coming up, and her anniversary is next week, so hopefully soon.

I got the shop Disney version of Jasmine and love her. I'm personally glad that she didn't have that skirt over the pants around the waist in the general release, because I do not care for that. I could also live without the gold cuffs on the ankles and the tassels on the skirt. I do wish the general release came with the lamp and tiara. I love her new face mold and feel that it's much more accurate and beautiful than the older teal version. Thanks again Mario for a wonderful comparison video😊

How do you get the D23 dolls? Is it a Disney membership or does D23 mean only at Disney world location?

The d23 dolls were sold at the d23 expo in September, you had to have to attended the expo for those. Only way of getting those now would be on eBay unfortunately

Yes, Disney store always makes 16” edition dolls for anniversary or new movies coming out. We don’t know which is next yet but when they announce a new one, I’ll post about it on my instagram 🙏🏽
