We were able to take a close look at the world champion's bike and assemble it in our workshop before heading back to Team Bahrain Victorious and Matej Mohoric. It is telling about the severity of European gravel courses when the Gravel World Champion's bike is built entirely with a road groupset. That said, the Merida Silex is on my shortlist for my next gravel bike.

@@roadbikechannel thank you for the reply. Yes, that was a good race and was very happy to see MoHo win. Yeah, GRX Di2 12 speed only comes in a single chainring option.....hopefully, they release 2x12 Di2 soon. I've been on Shimano for 30+ years and don't see myself switching to SRAM so I will wait for GRX 2x12 Di2.
