Thanks Levi for your science-based and data-driven information when it comes to tropical systems and weather. So many will try to sensationalize these storms and not present actual data and facts. I live in south Georgia and we felt the effects of hurricane Michael in 2018. Watching TD10 very closely as current projections have it on a very similar path. Again, thanks for all you do for us weather geeks that actually enjoy the scientific side of weather and tropical systems.

There was an expectation for slower development yesterday. The storm is not quite going off to the races today (certainly not "rapid intensification", defined as 30 kt in 24 hours), but it is developing a little more quickly.

Thanks for the heads up. It's so hot in The Florida Panhandle, all appliances that have to do with producing cold, are producing warmer temperature. People shouldn't push the AC too strong to low temperatures. I thought it was just the AC, but also the water dispenser machine and ice maker.

That particular part of the basin usually has deep warm water, so lingering east of the Yucatan will not be much of a hindrance for TD 10.

I don't live in that neck of the woods, but I learn a lot from your videos. You talked about SST, do they also have access to ARGO data on deep ocean heat? You talked about airplane fly-through data. Are they using drones also? They might also use undersea drones, n'est-ce pas?

Thanks for update. This makes sense....gfs is horrible the past few runs are not making senses/gliches? Euro has been accurate but more I think about this I do agree with the run I am seeing...I think landfall will be Tampa or bit south maybe ....nothing is out of the picture I been thinking hurricane cat 1 for awhile maybe 3-4wks now for this storm...and here it is. Now would like to see what aircrafts see and what the real cone will show. I do not want a hit in Fl at all maybe just rain no hurricanes, we have to be prepared. @@ADDICTEDTOFORECASTING That's not true, hurricane names only repeat every 6 years. Irma was in 2017 and now 6 years later in 2023 it has been replaced by Idalia. Hurricane Ida was in 2021 and it will be replaced with Imani for the 2027 season.
