You even say in this forecast from Wednesday 2 days before the storm impacts to the southern Appalachians that there will be heavy rain events and flash flooding in the southern Appalachians. People have to stop acting like this is not forecasted and not expected

Just coming back to these Helene forecasts since so many people as a part of the aftermath are saying it "came out of nowhere"... this is the five day out forecast you can see at 11:15 that has the tip of SC, western NC/TN area dead center of the forecast track. People need to pay attention to these types of forecasts, meteorologists, and climate scientists rather than throwing hands up and acting like after the fact no one had any idea these events were coming.

How is it looking for the Atlantic side of Florida?

Rain starting to build here in Grand Cayman, my main concern are those in Cayman Brac and Little Cayman as most of it seems that it'll pass over them. Otherwise mostly okay here in Grand Cayman I doubt we'll see any power outages here but continue to look out for those in the other islands 🙏

The electrical grid in Cuba is in totally disrepair. Residents get 1 hour of power a day. The grid needs a major rebuild. Cuba has limited power before any storm.
