Yes! When the transfer window comes around every forgets who we currently have in the squad, not to mention that players improve! We all know Jesus is not a goal machine, but there’s way he has as bad as season as he did last season, most people have written him off already. If you asked me what we need I’d say, Winger, LB, and Midfield, so it’s a great window. Would be nice if we could sign 2 midfielders though🫣

Not sure myself. People keep calling him a Xhaka replacement, the problem is, Xhaka played with Zinchenko and Partey. We had three progressive monsters in the team, with real quality on the ball. Is Timber/Calafiori Rice & Merino of that level on the ball? Not even close imo. We need at least 2/3 of the midfield 3 to be elite on the ball, with Rice Merino Odegaard, we'd only have 1.

If we get Merino and not buy at least two more players, I don’t see us being ambitious enough to win. Thomas Partey is getting injured two months in, Jorginho’s legs are going to be even more gone this season. I’m pretty sure Arteta is going to move Timber into midfield, otherwise we’re not looking good. Tomiyasu is already injured, as per usual. We’re betting on Jesus and Martinelli getting back to form and Havertz improving on last season. If we are settling for a Calafiori, Merino window, we’re not winning anything next season, or at least not the league.
