This is cool as hell. Can't decide if I really need this or if I just want the polymoon. I have an HX Stomp XL, love using it as the brains of my setup. Sometimes I want to do stuff on it but I just need some DSP saved from reverbs and delays. The Stomp itself can do a lot of what the LVX does. It can't do as much, but you can for sure rig up a lot of unique delay sounds. So hard to tell if I super desire this other than "ooooo shiny and options" But wow what a cool pedal. A delay designer. Make your own delay pedal.

Thanks for your very comprehensive run through! I just got the LVX and have found it surprisingly user-friendly, but the “Modifiers” section is somewhat terrifying 😂 Wondering if you have delved into the new “Hold” modifier on LVX? Excellent video! Really helpful run-through and it cleared up most of my questions. One remains: if you have several processing elements in the same location (e.g. both Filter and Modulate in the 'Pre' or 'Feedback Loop' location), can you choose their order, or is it fixed by their category/identity, or ...?

Great demo/review. Been eyeing the LVX, Echosystem, Microcosm, and H90. I see there is a H9, Timeline, and Volante behind you. Did the LVX make it on the board? Trying to rationalize the multi H90, but know I will still want individual pedal FX's. Have the Specular Tempus and its a keeper. It does delay/reverb/hybrid, but who doesn't want more delay/reverb pedal options. Never ends!!

@@ZacharyRizer - Thanks for the response. I ended up jumping and got a LVX. Wow!! First the presets are really good. The real power is the ability to shape your own custom preset sound beyond turning a few knobs. Whether that ability is worth the price is a personal choice. It is an expensive pedal and by far the most I have ever spent on one. Took me a few months to swallow that price. Sound wise it sounds great so no issue there. I personally like to dive deep into a pedal and usually before long know what it can get out of it. The LVX is deep. I feel like it's going to take me a while to experience that. Even then just one tweak can change the sound dramtically. The UI is actually well done considering how many options there are. Found the non bubble layout easier. So far I am impressed, but I knew going in there is a steep learning curve. If I get frustrated I just use a preset and have fun. Then come back with a clear head to try and tame this beast. Hope this helps others on the fence. If you can stomach the price your in for a journey. Hope they roll out new featurss in firmware and I do wish it had an editor/app. Thank you again for the video and keep em coming - new sub!!!

Nice demo. Have you ever tried with the Enzo pedal together? I believe it can give very interesting results. I'm starting to buy Meris pedals now and the Enzo is definitely among the purchases, I'm a bit undecided on this pedal here because it costs like two Meris pedals and I'm understanding if it's worth it. Ps I didn't understand what number of things you can assign? I seem to have understood an effect for a single session for example, the granular if activated it takes all the modulate section. It would have been crazy to be able to assign all possibilities for a single section not just one effect for example, ring mod along with granular etc.. Thank you !

@@jessetoews2446 So I just realized that the pitch shifters have a 'mix' parameter. This does exactly what you want, you can dial in or out your clean signal to taste. There is a separate mix for the delay line. So you can have any blend you would like. Bass + Octave Up and no delay, Bass + Oct + Delay, no bass + oct + delay, and no bass + oct only. And obviously anywhere in between as well.

It is essentially one thing from each category/menu. So one delay (keep in mind depending on the delay engine chosen this can be very complex multi/tap delays), one dynamic effect (comp, volume, swell, etc), one preamp (drive), one modulation (chorus, flange, etc), one filter, one pitch shifter.
