“Ladder filter” is a Moog thing. The filter circuit is a chain of low-pass filters with two symmetrical cascades of four transistors, with a capacitor between each pair of transistors, so it looks kinda like a ladder.

Beck’ Odelay is an absolute classic, good pick. Did you pick it because “delay” is in the album title?
@Telorchid Жыл бұрын
😂 I asked myself the same question.
@klekrfaqer2114 Жыл бұрын
Not that I could afford this, but even though the sound is without a doubt out of this world, it's hard to grasp how it doesn't come with an ergonomic desktop app for patch creation. I'm not saying that the onboard user interface would be bad, it's just that nothing really competes with a large display, a keyboard and a mouse when you have this level of complexity squeezed into a box. (My other, but way less important pet peeve is the absence of digital I/O, as I believe many would use it in the loops of Kempers, Axe FXs, Helixs etc. and whereas these all have acceptable AD/DA, there's simply no need for an additional pair of conversion...)

Do I really want to configure my own delay with 99 different presets? This is like windows, where you can change the dropdown color and a zillion other things just "because you can" and some developer has featurerities and just LOVES adding options to a thing. But I would like an "Apple" pedal: one delay, one reverb, maybe a chorus, but even with just a single button, it always sounds GREAT. I never even LOOKED at the twenty-something dip switches of my Chase Bliss Generation Loss MK2.

Significantly better than the Boss DD-500?
@Telorchid Жыл бұрын
DD-500 is great and has lots of tweaking capability with assigns. I feel the LVX far surpasses it in terms of multi-tap options, ease of access & general width of the stereo image, and the modular architecture. It also has assigns (it calls them modifiers) that are in some respects more sophisticated but it has fewer of them (2 LFO modifiers as opposed to 8 in the Boss). Also slightly prefer the base tone of the digital delay on the LVX vs the Boss’s ‘standard.’ (I own both.)

put it on the kik. It's 6 days in but whatever. Thanks for coming back. Great pedal and video. I don't really like reverb or delay on guitar though. Why does mid range (guitar-vocals-snare) have to go in the cave?

1. Yes 2. You have to search the internet until you find one.
