Did you disconnect battery when soldering the wires together? Is it 2 single wire for driver side and 4 for passenger?

I must add. Bypassing a safety system isn't very legal. You wouldn't pay a garage to do this "simple fix" because it is indeed a simple fix and not a very good one. A good garage simply wouldn't do it. I'm sure everyone with a KZbin account will disagree but hey ho.

Had this happen twice. Charged big bucks at the dealership. Gonna try this.

I did this on drivers seat. It seem to be working for now. It's a fast job,but very inconvinient one. Thanks for the tip. I hope I won't deal with this again.

Both Code 96 and 16 appears on my Vauxhall Meriva, a wireman told me this because of airbag , while other told me this related to something with belt seat. In terms of Code 16, my back lights are working , so I don’t know,, can you tell me more about this?

Why does noone show us how to un clip the yellow conecters dont tell me you have undone it shoow me as ithere is nothing easy about it if i cant disconnect the yellow conector
