I stopped smoking weed, to live a sober life. I slowly weaned myself off because i feel that it has gotten me through the pain of my younger years as a a teen. This song reminds me of those days of pain and regrets. Now I’m at a point in my life that I want to go through life being able to deal with my struggles and demons with a clear head and in control, to feel my emotions in the purest form, and to be able to battle the depression. It’s too easy to pick up a drug to numb yourself, but the fight to not pick up those drugs is a greater willpower and strength some will never know. To those who struggle with pain and stress of life remember this; there’s people who love you even if you feel like no one does. You have this one life live. Live it with love and happiness. The answer to a short term problem is never a permanent solution. I pray for everyone to be happy.

@@josephcordell3102 I've stopped smoking for about a month now and I feel really good about it. I've been getting a lot done and thinking really clear, knowing every thought and emotion is my own. I still have a beer at night and I'm working on that too but smoking was huge all day every day thing for me. I'm planning to have a little bit and chill all day on saturday and I just feel super happy and finally not letting this substance control me but setting aside a time to enjoy it without letting it interfere with the rest of my life. I hope you can see this as an encouragement to work on your addictions like I am. My father always taught me "There is a time and place for everything" And my own mantra is, cannabis and alcohol need to be a supplement to a happy life not a substitute.
