Best rendition of this song I've heard. My dad used to sing it to us children when young and before we started our own family band. My sister (drummer and vocalist) had a lot of stories of eating sauerkraut and other 'adventures' with Merle on his ranch in California - I enjoyed listening to her stories of her playing with many great classic country stars - some of which were quite startling to say the least! What would be cool if Merle and Karen Carpenter are singing this song together in the afterlife. My two favorite singers of all time. Timeless.
