That song about preacher Lane brought a tear to my eye, all those poor miners worked till they all collapsed and the homegrown preacher helped bring em comfort. God bless all those guys and may they all rest in peace

I was a Hard Rock miner for Local 168 Rock and Tunnel Union for approximately 6 years then moved to the Ironworkers Union 725 Calgary Alberta.

....it's ugly beauty...welcome to mining... coal mining, or walmart mining, this is one of the best all time albums! Every working person whether mining at Peters, or "mining" at Walmart must have collective bargaining to play with the corps. The story workers must unify it be able to have a counter voice to corporate profits...Listen again if you don't get it
