One of the most brilliant musicians ever. I agree with Thom Bresh that he was the most influential guitarist of the twentieth century.

That song about preacher Lane brought a tear to my eye, all those poor miners worked till they all collapsed and the homegrown preacher helped bring em comfort. God bless all those guys and may they all rest in peace

It's easy to forget that many of our present safety, compensation, and worker-friendly practices were won by brave working men and women not so long ago.

Songs/artists that tell or sing stories people connect to are the best.👍🤗 Artist all over the world sing songs related to life’s situation’s. Songs that can be very emotionally connected to the people.

....it's ugly beauty...welcome to mining... coal mining, or walmart mining, this is one of the best all time albums! Every working person whether mining at Peters, or "mining" at Walmart must have collective bargaining to play with the corps. The story workers must unify it be able to have a counter voice to corporate profits...Listen again if you don't get it
