@@lewis3761 Kitten O.o How do you know it was a knock off they have more than one type of fin fun monofin. Even now they have an upgraded one to the more advanced one. It looks exactly like one of the ones they dont pair with it any more. I'm on amazon right now it's from fin funs amazon account and it's a jr monofin. Just because they dont sell it anymore on their site which has their newer monofins doesnt make it a knock off. They have better options now, this isnt a new video for one, and she bought a basic fin. Kids arent caring about speed they are just wanting to look nice and swim somewhat in their tail lol. Well most kids. Mine wants the fancy newest add 15 to get it monofin for her first tail.

The straps on my mermaid kat monofin always stay on, even without my feet in it. You just have to pull it so the knub on the fin is basically surrounded by the smaller of the two holes in the strap, it is very difficult to do, but you only have to do it once or twice. It is a great monofin, too. I hope to be able to take it out to a lake soon.

My mom made me a mermaid tail back around 2015-17. She was supposed to make my sister one as well but never made it though she did buy us those cheap pink and purple monofins for us. We've grown out of them eventually but I remember how fun my tail was. I'm 16 now and we're planning on making one for each three of us this year and buying the fantasea fin 3 from mertailor! I know a lot more about tails now so I know these are probably only made for kids but adults could also use the tails I just prefer bigger and floppyer flukes made of silicone.

4:37 There is neoprene socks for monofins like the Mahina ,monofins from Finiss ,Suntails and stuff like that. Without the neoprene socks with monofins that aren’t made made out of plexiglass or lots of neoprene it may hurt you. If you don’t want to get neoprene socks and you don’t want to get burns or scars you can always use normal socks might fell a bit weird just a bit (lots weird) it can be slippery but what would be best if you don’t want it to be slippery, burns, scars and you don’t want neoprene socks there’s socks with silicone at the bottom and it will make it much easier with the silicone however. Cali Calico they want to push their own brand because they are a similar price point. The thing I don’t like is that they try to pretend that aquamermaid isn’t their brand and that they are reviewing with an outside perspective. I don’t trust any of their reviews with an aquamermaid product in it.

Hey Adora agreed. The fact they reviewed their own product, without naming anything bad or any disadvantages about it, really says something. Fin fun is an amazing brand. They are competitors, but although fin fun has never spoken about them, aqua mermaid always gives negative reviews on fin fun. I don’t trust any reviews they make about fin fun or aqua mermaid. I feel like fin fun honestly cares about their customers, but aqua mermaid is just in it for the money

Please don’t listen to the false information spread about fin fun. The monofin she showed looks like it’s been messed with greatly, their monofins do not move that weakly underwater. I highly recommend fin fun, safety is their number one priority.

I have a Luna monofin, it has just brokken! I think it was intirely my own fault for miss handling it, but here's what you never do to a finis Luna: DONT carry your Finis Luna monofin around in its straps, that's how you break it in only two days of use. 😭 Other then that it was amazing, super comfy and beautiful, for the two times I got to use it. RIP my Finis Luna, if I don't fix it... Somehow? 😔

I think you can fix it. Is it like just apart or completely broken? If apart, there should be something that connects it. If completely broken, you could glue it, but not all glue works. Make sure to get a glue that doesnt stick off while in water, like super glue or similar, but not elmers glue, it sticks off, thats all I can help with. Just tell me how the break looks and maybe I can help you. No joke, its possible.

I'm sorry, but I prefer FinFun. Why? Their monofin is much more soft that gives me extreme comfort, stiff that it gives me so much power, speed, and control, flexible and durable and lasts long. Thank you so much for this review, it really hnarrows my choices down. I have a tail from suntails, but want another, better monofin that gives more challenge to my body/core/legs. I'm quiet a good swimmer, though I have knee problems so the mòst challenging fin is not a good Idea voor me. I'm thinking of the Linden for adults, the Aquamermaid (intermediate), the hydra or the luna. Do you know if there is a monofin for me, that also fits in the suntail? I'm women's size 7,5.

You should do an updated video showing finfuns pro and amp fin. We are looking at that company for Ivy (beginner mermaiding but strong swimmer) and shes begging for the amp fin which boasts better propulsion than their other fins.

I would recogmend either a finfun or a linden. Finfun: gentle swimming and super quick release linden: more durable for long term, fairly quick release and comfortable, individual foot pockets.

I have really tiny feet (size 6) and I use the Finis Mermaid fin. I have swam for 3 hours straight going laps around the pool in my spandex mermaid tail and its really not bad! My only issue is the strap, just like the aquarius in your video, the straps constantly fall off my feet and Im not sure how to make them stay on. I've tried elastic too to try to make it stay on and it just keeps slipping off.

Try wearing like those leg things and put them around where your getting rubbed. Or try cutting a sock to the right size so it's like a band that covers over where you get the rashes. Mine don't give me rashes but I hope this helps you! :)
