I would really love if EA did an Island Living pack refresh specifically for the mermaids aspect of the pack! Mermaids definitely should’ve been a standalone game pack! I also reallllyyyy want fairies in a pack but not if they’re just gonna be an afterthought like mermaids seems to have been. When they did the Spa Day refresh, it was so good! I understand that it’s a lot of time/work for them to invest without a huge ROI but I never would’ve bought Spa Day before they did the refresh and there are so many packs that seriously need it! Dine Out & My Wedding Stories especially would really benefit from an EA overhaul. I guess we’ll have to wait and see but it looks like the EA team is probably done with refreshes.

Love the build! In the spirit of mermaid and marine builds, I’d love to see a beachside house with tons of flowers and gardens. I’m thinking a mermaid who gave up her tail to live on the land, and living by the water and caring for plants is helping her.

I love Sulani. My favorite lot is a Marine Biology dorm I built. I have my student take a job as a Conservationist so they can study the ecosystem in between classes. It's so fun! My own university had a program like that with a remote campus on the coast. If I had been single with no dogs or kids when I was enrolled, I totally would have applied for the program! 🌊🐠🐙🧜‍♀

Island Living was one o the first packs I bought when I got the game a few years ago, so to me it's really special and I love it a lot. I would have loved it if mermaids got just a few more special things added to them! Although I do not play enough to enjoy all of the depth of the other occults' gameplay, the mermaids are lacking and it's sad because I love their addition to the Sims! I would love it if they added fairies in a gamepack, they'd be my favourite occults for sure! The house turned out so beautiful and colourful!!! One of my fave builds from you, for sure!

I saw The Little Mermaid earlier this week and omg I truly cannot recommend it enough!!! It's such a beautiful movie and I cried so much, like every time Halle sung a tear would roll down my cheek LOL

The only thing that I would have added was one of those fire pits that they lay the big leaves over and they can cook only Sulani dishes on. I love having my Sims use it. Love the build!! So cute!!

I'd love them to do a starter home kit, items that are like IKEA basics and cheaper in game so we can make starter homes without using the go to cheapest base game furniture. Cos that's realistically what you do when you get your first place, trip to IKEA.

I strongly recommend the Disney movie Lilo & Stitch! YMMV but the original is fantastic! It's about a couple of wonderful orphaned sisters who adopt a mutant koala/dog who's actually an alien in need of a loving family after he committed some space crimes. It will also give you some Island Living inspiration. (Sorry if you've already seen it but it's my favorite to this day.) I love Lilo and Nani so much! 😊 Edit: Sorry I forgot to add; I love how bright and fantastic this build is and I also think it's so cute how mermaids have their tails in the bath. I keep meaning to actually play with a mermaid but I get so sidetracked after spending so much time in CAS and then I get hung up on the random skill-building or whatever career. I made a cute Sea Lion mermaid with a bunch of CC but since the infants I pulled out a lot of my mods and even before that I think there was some update to like sliders or something I never got around to so I made her and never went back to her. I kinda wish they'd just STOP making packs and updates to stuff, no matter how good it is, so I can be confident nothing will break my dang CC lol. I do hope if we get fairies they're more fleshed out but ya know what? I think mermaids could be a tiny bit underrated; don't they have weather control?? That's extremely useful for Seasons! It's better than Aliens anyway right?

I feel like Merpeople could've been so much more if they weren't just added to the expansion pack and made into a gamepack. They could have a whole tree system like the vampires, witches and warlocks(I don't like saying Spellcasters..), and werewolves look how detailed they turned out. You would think Ts4 team would've looked at Ts3 Supernatural gamepack and said "Okay let's do better than this." I hope the faires are more fleshed out like the other gamepacks. Also I'm excited for The Little Mermaid movie as well. I'm probably going to go next weekend. Hope you enjoy it 💖

The only Disney remake even worth watching that was good, is Cinderella. The others were horendously bad af. Cinderella added to the story and characters in a way that made sense and gave it more dept. My worst dissapointment was B&B it was just awful. Which is sad because I like Emma, she's great & gorgeous, but wtf? Can't someone else sing for Belle instead? Wtf did he mock her hobby & just throw the library in her face rather than make it a genuine gesture for her? Speaking of Library was a HUGE dissapointment. 😭 They can portal now for some reason? Why? What does that add? There was a lot more but these I remember at the moment. I doubt remale TLM will bring me any enjoyment.

Even though Island Living is one of my favourite expansions, I've never been even a little bit tempted to play around with mermaid Sims-I'm just not a paranormal Sims girlie. Until now, because this build is so, so beautiful! It's so perfectly my aesthetic. It might not be enough to play in it. I need to actually live in it. Somebody build this for my irl. Stat! 🌸🐠🪸🌊💜
