I love ‘apartment’ builds so much, I wish they were properly functional without having to lock doors for everyone but that one Sim for every unit 😞 That’s why I really like having a common area in these apartment builds as well, so all the Sims could hang out!

This build is adorable! The first apt and the dark apt were my faves. I love how each had a little hobby or theme, just wish everyone had access to a laptop, as the first build seems a bit privileged, not that there's anything wrong with that lol. Please continue making tiny apartment buildings, they're some of my favorite builds that you do!

I love how harmonious the apartments and all the colors look! the way you put furniture and decoration together is so amazing. For me, with a lot of other sims builds the color palette always gets disturbed when decoration is added, but all four of your apartments really feel so harmonious and pretty

OMG, what a beautiful build!! The size of the space and how you decorated seems very authentic to Japanese tiny apartments. I'm surprised you didn't squish a 2x1 'wet room' bathroom considering how common that setup is in Japan!

I feel like something that would fit in mt komorebi is doing a build inspired by a ghibli film. Like trying to build a home themed around the bath house spirited away, or recreating the home from my neighbor totoro! Or even going to windenburg and trying to build a home based on the inside of howls castle

I just want Maxis to let us make separate lots on one lot. A restaurant/bar/shopping destination all on one lot, make our own apartments, the workarounds are so frustrating. Love this build!

If you don’t mind a suggestion how about building a bathhouse right next to the apartment for the tenants. A common studio apartment in Japan have a community bathroom or even a bathhouse.

Considering the location of these apartments, you could have one apartment just not have a kitchen as well. Maybe just a mini fridge! Food is so easy to come by in this area, so you could have like a lazy person living there~

No mod or cheat necessary, although LittleMsSam’s “roommates” mod would probably enhance the feature. You can just create a household, dump em on the lot, and lock the doors to individual apartments. Or have one main landlord & put out an advertisement for roommates through your phone

Love your videos, charming home I am curious why do you move the surface/table when you put clutter on its top? And which key do you use for that?

It’s because everything’s attached/snaps to a “grid” which can limit your decorative abilities UNLESS you have bb.moveobjects on. That allows you to build grid-free. So, when she’s moving stuff to place clutter/plants etc, it’s so they won’t get stuck to the surface grid and instead can look very intentionally “lived in” vs artificially placed. Does that make sense?

How are you able to take such nice chest level pictures of the interior? I'm struggling to take nice screenshots of the rooms I built inside, because the camera angle in build mode is sort of perspective form. I'm new so I don't really know it works :,)
