Your work is exquisite, I really would like to know are the scales beinging done with regular gauge fine silver foil or are you useing a thicker gauge.

The silver scales are done in Ginbari foil (available through enamelartsupply.com) which is 4.5 microns thick as compared to standard foil which is 1.4 microns. The 24k gold foil is 1.4 microns standard foil and some I made myself that is about .001”.
