The Loli Vefe silicone mats would be perfect for adding the paint to - especially when peeling it off. I actually have a similar face as a template that I got on eBay. Good result! I’d have used the template on the canvas. I’ve done that before I added the paint. Julie from “Pouring your heart out” has done a similar painting but used a different way of applying the paint.

Yes silicone mats would have worked great - I just didn’t have any at the time 😋 I have tried a bunch of different techniques with all the different women I have done since 🥰 As I mentioned in a previous comment, the Mermaid swipe painting was actually created by Crafty Jenn who i have spoken to, she is credited in the description and pinned comment ❤️

Thank you very much!💙 I quite like Liquitex high gloss varnish, both spray and liquid. I use MasterCast resin from my uk supplier Eli-Chem. As far as I know, many artists use Art resin.
